Aldon Horse Trails Press Release
Equi-Trek’s premier dealership in the south-west has increased its support of Aldon International Horse Trials in Somerset with title sponsorship of both its March and October events.
The deal follows on from Equi-Trek’s initial involvement last year when it sponsored Aldon’s second event in October. This proved such a success that the decision was made to increase its sponsorship and include the March event.
Stephen Moore of Equi-Trek Shaftesbury said: “I am really pleased that we have been able to secure title sponsorship of both events. Aldon is a super event run by a wonderful team and we are proud to be associated with it. We will have a range of vehicles on display for people to browse.”
The deal re-enforces Equi-Trek’s commitment to support equine events and to give something back to the sport both in the UK and in Europe.
The event’s organiser Tessa Mackenzie-Green said: “We are delighted that our partnership with Equi-Trek Shaftesbury is not only continuing but that sponsorship is also increasing. It represents a very exciting time for Aldon as part of the deal also includes a new website where we will be able to showcase everything riders and spectators love about Aldon.”
Aldon regularly attracts horses and riders of the highest calibre. Last year Pippa Funnell’s six-year-old champion Billy Walk On’s early season campaign included a novice win at Aldon. Many other horses destined to compete on the sport’s bigger stage are often seen in action at Aldon.
Stephen said: “With Aldon’s reputation for having superb going whatever time of year there are always a lot of competitors and spectators are guaranteed a great day out. Aldon is an event we love attending and we are absolutely thrilled to be supporting in the capacity of title sponsors.”
Equi-Trek Shaftesbury covers Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Hampshire, and is committed to equestrianism with a comprehensive sponsorship package for 2016.
Aldon International Horse Trials take place on March 18- 20 and October 20 – 23.
