"Scotsburn Horse Trials first ran in 2003 with the intention of providing a BE Horse Trials in the Highlands and our first event had 80 entries. It was in our second year we were granted the initial sponsorship from Global Energy, whose C.E O., Roy MacGregor recognised the benefits for the North riding community of holding such an event here in Ross shire and was keen to support this initiative.
